Warranty Terms
- Warranty Coverage: The Mechanic guarantees that the parts installed (supplied by the mechanic) and labour performed on the vehicle described above will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the date of completion of the work as indicated on the invoice.
- Scope of Warranty: This warranty covers only the specific parts installed and labour performed by the Mechanic, as described in the Scope of Work. Any repairs or replacement of parts will be conducted by the Mechanic at no additional charge to the Customer, provided the defect is covered under this warranty.
- Exclusions: This warranty does not cover: – Parts and labour not provided by the Mechanic. – Any damage resulting from misuse, negligence, accident, or modifications not authorized by the Mechanic. – Routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, Air Filter replacements, unless explicitly included in the Scope of Work. – Normal wear and tear. – Any consequential or incidental damages arising from the use of the vehicle.
- Customer Responsibilities: The Customer is responsible for maintaining the vehicle according to the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule. The Customer must promptly notify the Mechanic of any defects or issues covered by this warranty and allow the Mechanic a reasonable amount of time to inspect and repair the vehicle. The Customer must provide the Mechanic with the original invoice and proof of warranty coverage when making a warranty claim.
- Claim Procedure: To make a warranty claim, the Customer must: – Contact the Mechanic at the phone number provided by the mechanic to schedule an inspection. – Present the original invoice and proof of warranty coverage. – Allow the Mechanic reasonable time to inspect and diagnose the issue.
- Limitations of Liability: The Mechanic’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts and labour. The Mechanic shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of time, or inconvenience.
- Transferability: This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original Customer and vehicle listed in this Agreement.
